Those who want to see Nuclear power plants built in Australia say that It would offer a clean, safe source of energy that will last decades. With Australia’s geo-stability and large land area the risk of damage from natural disasters is lowered.

Those who oppose Nuclear energy say that the waste it produces is harmful to the environment and that the risk of a catastrophe is too great.
